Quality control

The Quality Assurance Department was established in 2017 to cover all quality requirements of Al-Thiqa Pharma. According to the new rules and regulations, quality is the cornerstone of all drug agencies and human consumer products agencies. From this standpoint, Al-Thiqa Pharma decided to choose this path to be the first in the Yemeni market in applying quality standards, and it chose the highest specifications and standards to apply as standards and regulations of the World Health Organization, the European Union, the American Food and Drug Organization, the International Council for the Harmonization of Technical Requirements for the Registration of Medicines for Human Use, and the policies of and procedures of the American Pharmacists Association. The Quality Assurance Department has implemented general planning for implementation using the FOCUS PDCA continuous performance improvement model, which means:

Al-Thiqa Pharma, Human Resources Department, in coordination with its counterparts in international agencies, through the scientific offices of those agencies, employs marketing staff, as the company currently includes more than three hundred and fifty employees distributed to all agencies.
And since such a number distributed to a large number of agencies must be done with high accuracy, the company has provided a modern system for employee services, so the human resources in Al-Thiqa Pharma serve its own employees and other employees who work to market the agencies’ products by paying monthly salaries, registering employees and following them up with social insurance Registration and follow-up of employees in the Human Resources Fund and medical insurance for employees. and other services
And the government affairs department of the company has a staff of employees with experience in government dealings, as this department serves the employees by issuing exit and return visas, commercial visit procedures, and other services related to employees with the labor office or the passport department
The two departments also carry out internal coordination by ensuring the unification of employee information, maintaining employee files and updating them in the automated system, constantly reviewing and amending the salary system, and ensuring its suitability with Yemeni labor and workers laws and all other government legislation in this regard.

Finance

The financial department in Al-Thiqa Pharma plays an important and pivotal role as it works to protect and control the company’s funds and resources, and the financial department records and records all financial and accounting data and submits monthly reports on the company’s performance to management.
The financial department prepares the annual plan (discretionary budget) at the beginning of each year.

The financial department also manages the funds of Al-Thiqa Pharma and ensures the adequacy of these funds to fulfill the obligations of Al-Thiqa Pharma towards external suppliers and pay all other dues.

The commercial department works as an auxiliary factor between the marketing departments of the manufacturing companies that we represent in the Republic of Yemen and the customers, by organizing and managing all commercial agreements such as discounts and additional offers, or managing expired medicines, in a professional manner, in order to preserve the rights of all parties.
The department also supervises installment sales that are carried out according to the terms agreed upon with some clients, which require following up administrative approvals, issuing legal contracts, receiving checks, and following up on the payment program.
Recently, a direct sales department (Cash Van) was established for customers who do not have accounts with Al-Thiqa Pharma, through cars equipped with pharmaceutical specifications, where the sales representative receives orders and delivers them to the customer in a standard envelope to cover the largest segment of customers in the Kingdom, in order to ensure that the patient obtains his needs of related medicines Al-Thiqa Pharma at any time and place in an easier and faster way.
Also, the direct sales department can open an account with all types of customers who have special requests and relatively small businesses, such as small pharmacies and specialized clinics such as dermatology, dentistry and cosmetology, in order to increase the general customer base of Al-Thiqa Pharma.
The commercial department also follows up on updating and renewing the papers for opening accounts with clients for expired documents. It also follows up and reviews the update of the credit limit for clients from time to time to ensure the integrity of the sale and collection process.
